Dr. Rania Melhem is an associate dentist at Carmel Family Dental. A native of Monterey, California, she graduated with honors in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from NYU’s College of Dentistry in 2023. Following her graduation, Dr. Melhem completed a one-year general practice residency at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

She is passionate about providing personalized and compassionate care. Dr. Melhem focuses on alleviating dental anxiety and building trust with her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident during their visits. Fluent in both English and Arabic, she brings a unique blend of cultural understanding and dental expertise to our team, with her background rooted in California and Lebanon.

In her free time, Dr. Melhem enjoys working out, hiking, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her adorable British Shorthair cat, Mikado.
